Dr. Berkowitz completed his orthopedic residency at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec and his fellowship training at the world-renowned Kerlan-Jobe Orthopedic Clinic in Los Angeles, California. He is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He is also a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons and several state and local medical and orthopedic associations. Dr. Berkowitz performs hundreds of total knee and hip replacement procedures every year, including minimally invasive and computer-navigated procedures which can reduce hospital stays, shorten recovery time, and offer a reduction in pain for patients.
